Executive Producer Guillermo del Toro and Director Peter Ramsey stopped by Nerd HQ at Comic-Con for a quick chat on Rise of the Guardians. Here are a couple of answers they shared with the fans. When asked what attracted him to Rise of the Guardians, Guillermo del Toro explained that while taking a tour of DreamWorks Animation, he saw some of the artwork for the film and was completely blown away. Seeing that artwork, he knew DreamWorks Animation had something really special. When asked who is his favorite character, Peter Ramsey stated that he loves all of them equally. They each have facets that make them interesting, but he does have a soft spot for Jack Frost. He explained Jack’s story is the background of the film so he developed a bond to Jack while developing his story.
